United Nations

The WFICC has a profile with the United Nations. This profile allows the WFICC to respond to invitations by different groups within the United Nations and enables them to send a representative of the organization to these groups. The WFICC will be seeking consultative status that will enable them to more actively participate and engage with the activities of the United Nations.

Christians for Biblical Equality

The organization of CBE is one that promotes the equality of men and women by actively engaging in theological, sociological, psychological and historical dimensions that have influenced our society. Their website is: www.cbeinternational.org.

As a part of the WFICC seeking to value men and women as equals, it obtained Church and Organizational Membership with CBE to join in this movement of justice.

U.S. Department of Justice

Federal Bureau of Prisons

The WFICC has been recognized by the Federal Bureau of Prisons as an ecclesiastical endorser. This enables the WFICC to endorse members of its fellowship to minister in the prison setting.

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs

The WFICC has been recognized by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as an ecclesiastical endorser. This enables the WFICC to endorse members of its fellowship to minister in VA hospitals.

The Coalition of Spirit-Filled Churches

The WFICC has a relationship with The Coalition of Spirit-filled Churches in which WFICC members can receive endorsement by the Spirit-filled Churches to enter military chaplaincy ministry.

The Association of Professional Chaplains (APC)

The Association of Professional Chaplains (APC) has acknowledged the WFICC as a recognized faith group. By attaining this faith group recognition, the WFICC is able to provide ecclesial endorsement for its chaplains who are seeking to apply for board certification with the APC.

The Association of Professional Conservative Chaplains (APCC)

The Association of Professional Conservative Chaplains (APCC) has acknowledged the WFICC as a recognized faith group. By attaining this faith group recognition, the WFICC is able to provide ecclesial endorsement for its chaplains and/or pastoral counselors who are seeking to apply for board certification with the APCC. The WFICC can also provide ecclesial endorsement for those who are seeking to become CPE supervisors with the APCC.

Discount for WFICC Members: The Association of Professional Conservative Chaplains (APCC) has created a partnership with the WFICC. This partnership allows members to receive a discounted price on Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) units in any program accredited by the APCC.

The Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc. (ACPE)

The Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc. (ACPE) has acknowledged the WFICC as a recognized faith group. By attaining this faith group recognition, the WFICC is able to provide ecclesial endorsement for its chaplains who are seeking to apply to become a supervisory chaplain with the APCE.

The Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC)

The Canadian Association for Spiritual Care has a reciprocal relationship with the APCE. This means that any faith group that is recognized by either side is accepted by both organizations. Thereby, WFICC is able to provide ecclesial endorsement for its ministers who are seeking to become board certified as chaplains and/or pastoral counselors in Canada. The WFICC can also provide ecclesial endorsement for those who are seeking to become CPE supervisors with the CASC.

The College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy (CPSP)

The College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy (CPSP) has acknowledged the WFICC as a faith group. By attaining this faith group recognition, the WFICC is able to provide ecclesial endorsement for its ministers who are seeking to become certified in the following areas:

The COMISS Network

The WFICC is a member organization with the COMISS Network. “The COMISS Network: The Network on Ministry in Specialized Settings (formerly known as the Coalition on Ministry in Specialized Settings) has been in existence since [the] 1970’s. COMISS is involved in national and international initiatives making the organization well known among chaplain and pastoral counseling professions. The member organizations of COMISS Network guides its involvements and its current initiatives.”
